2013-2014 Steering Team
Coordinator - Jennifer Hemphill
Leads the steering team monthly meetings. Helps plan out the year's meeting topics, speakers, and crafts. Runs each meeting by introducing the topic and speaker and praying us in. The fearless leader who keeps everything running smoothly and on time!
Creative Activities - Jen Reitz
Designs and preps the craft for each month's meeting. Designs name tags and table centerpieces as well.
Discussion Group Leader - Shelby Homm
Selects the discussion group leaders for each table. Divides the women in the group up into their assigned tables. Decides discussion questions and passes on any info to the leaders for their tables.
Finance - Tanya Rushton
Manages the group's yearly budget. Balances our bank account. Handles registration including collecting forms and money and entering info into the computer.
Hospitality - Katie Smotherman
In charge of setting the food table with coffee, juice, and paper goods as well as the decorations. Sends out Birthday, Thank You, and Get Well greeting cards to members. Handles our meal ministry for new and sick moms. Runs the icebreaker games and giveaways at each meeting.
Moppets - Meena Shelton
Coordinates the childcare volunteers by making sure we always have enough babysitters every single month. She sets up all three of the kids room making sure all supplies, toys, and crafts are ready to go. She designs and preps the monthly kids craft. Hardest working member of steering team - I kid you not!
Publicity - Amber Sheaves
Writes and prints the monthly newsletter. Makes any necessary publicity documents such as flyers, business cards, post cards, press releases, etc. Handles communication including emails, blog, and our facebook page.
Mentor Mom Leader - Susanne Matteson
Responsible for leading all our mentor moms. Schedules the monthly mentor mom minute at meetings.
